SAMsARA Pinot Noir, SRH 2021
Introducing our June Wine of the Month: SAMsARA Pinot Noir, Sta. Rita Hills 2021!
Matt Brady has done it again, as he continues to nail the elegant balance of body, mouth-feel and food friendly Pinots. We took this wine out multiple times last month, and it was a showstopper in every lineup.
This beautifully pure and savory (whole-cluster 45%) Pinot is sourced from some of the best vineyards in the SRH - 38% Rancho La Vina, 24% Bentrock, 18% Our Lady of Guadalupe, 15% Radian, 5% La Encantada. With just 6% new oak used, and only 11 months in barrels this wine is defined by it’s freshness and energy, but with enough weight and structure to make it a serious glass of wine.
